I see daylight!

This is me crawling into the sunlight. I knew it was there somewhere just waiting for me. The booths are finished, the planting has been shifted to late January and all that needs doing on the major project list is the homeless shelter family Christmas party. That's this Friday. Now for Christmas planning:

I must send out cards. That has to be done. I just bought a few. Yes, you heard me. I bought them. The chibi fellowship has fallen to the demands of the overworked schedule. That and my artist has her own heavy schedule this year in the form of a big art commission due in a matter of days. If you received a card from me last year then you will must likely received one this year. The season would not be the same without buying a million stamps and a front door full of cards from my lovely flist. If you have moved this past year and don't want your card to go wandering please send an updated address to bonbon47@gamil.com. Thank you!

In other news, I had a lovely Thanksgiving and am still enjoying the very long weekend. The son came over for dinner, the family fixed dinner together, watched movies (Avatar and Iron Man) and then I sent him home with leftovers. That was such a cool experience. Don't know what we will do for Christmas. It all depends on his schedule.

Final news, the canceled conference is back on or rescheduled. It has moved though. It will now be in Texas at the end of February. I'm still excited about it just not thrilled about the extra cost. I'm hoping they throw in lots of extras to make up for it.

That's all for now.

Been thinking of you and wondering how swamped you must be! So good to see you're surviving. *hugs*

Hey, I can handle this! What's a little annual meeting, county fair, competitions plus normal classes, work week, home life and holidays. I'm good. *tries to catch breath and smiles weakly*

I need a drink. A big one. Thanks for the thoughts. You little additions to old stories has helped alot. I've gotten a chance to read some new stuff and some very familiar stuff. *hugs*

Assistant? I am the assistant.

I think reading has fallen off everywhere in LOTR. Each writer seems to have a small group of readers and others just don't seem to notice that anything new is being written. I've been following a variety of things. Willow and Connie are writing about a Asian boyband, another is writing original characters as well as LOTR and Akasha and Widdershin are doing this RP story involving vampires and werewolves. They are trying to get me into it and I've considered entering using Karl Urban's Ghost character from Pathfinder. I'm just having trouble finding the time to work on his bio.

We seem to be moving at the same speed with this thing.

You perhaps have more enthusiasm about Christmas. However, will be nice to send some messages to some friends.

Chrustmas has always been my favorite holiday. I'm a rabid fan of Christmas ornaments. I have far more than can fit on a normal size tree and we use a table-top version so every year I can put up something different.

I never really liked cards or doing them until about four years ago when I got on one of Nverland's Christmas cards lists. Getting them and sending them around the world is tons of fun. I have a doorful every year so yeah, I guess I am pretty enthusiastic about Christmas.

It's great you enjoy it all so much. I suppose it's such a family time that side would be fun and exciting.

Must admit I am dreading Christmas.

Hurrah for finally crawling out of that tunnel-o-work!

Glad you had a lovely Thanksgiving with your son.

That's a bummer that the conference is going to cost MORE than you wanted. I hope it's worth it.

The sun light is nice and warm and I think I like it.

The conference should be good. They are offering me a discount on registration as well as a few extra publications. These kind of conferences with lots of hands-on activities are usually a great pick-me-up to my creative juices.

Sounds like it'll be worthwhile. Anything that stimulates the creative juices is good.

I'm happy to hear that the conference is back on again :)
