Bucket List (revised)

The other day I went looking for an entry I made after watching "The Bucket List". I was curious as to what I put on it and whether I'd accomplished anything since making the thing. I couldn't find the darn list. I even got expert help from the darling silvan_lady but the list refuses to be uncovered so I've decided to make a new one and since I'm sure a trip to Hawaii was on it I can cross that one off.

KrazyKitten's Bucket List
- Visit every state in the U.S.
- Visit a castle in the U.K.
- Visit the the port of Southampton
- See the Highlands of Scotland
- Be the Chairman of the Board of something
- Get my house the way I want it
- Get back in shape and lose the "baby" weight
- Visit Greek ruins
- Swim into a cave in Greece
- Visit Hawaii
- See a live volcano
- Climb a waterfall in Hawaii
- Be in Australia on New Year's Eve
- Visit Wellington, New Zealand and see LOTR stuff

I'm not dead yet. I've got lots of spirit left and plenty of plans. I've seen half of the U.S. and will add three states to my check-off list this summer.

Didn't say you were, but we're close in age and due to my health there's over half of that list I'm not able to do any longer. I'm just glad I did things when I was younger because there's a lot I'm unable to ever do unfortunately.

I didn't have the opportunity to travel when I was younger due to finances but I can consider them now. My health is something I'm working especially my mobility. If I keep moving I plan to see everything.

I am glad you got to see things when you were younger.

I like the icons. I hadn't consider Egpyt but if the opportunity presents itself I'll go.

From a very young age I wanted to go to Egypt, so when I started working at 17, all my savings went towards saving up for that dream and when I was 22 I went on holiday to Egypt with a friend.
I met my husband there, who was on the trip with his sister and we went back to Egypt when we were married two years.

*nods* Me too. You never plan to have deteriorating health when you get older, because when you have small children you postpone other wishes until they are older - like visiting Israel and Italy, I really want to see Pompeï - but I can't anymore.

I can really recommend it and I hope it will get calmer political wise so it is possible to go there safely. The sights are amazing and seeing Tutanchamun's treasures is truly wonderful.

I believe in dreaming and planning big. I'm almost half way through the U.S. states and I'll add three more this summer. If I get to the U.K. I hope to see more of Europe along with those I know there. Same for Australia and New Zealand. I don't need to see the whole world, just chucks of it.

Well, dear, you're always welcome here!

I'd love to see Australia and New Zealand but unless I win the lottery that probably will never happen, which is okay really.

I'm not much of a traveller, I'm a home-girl! *g*

I might take you up on the offer some day.

I've always wanted to travel. My parents were travelers and I have a box full of picture postcards from their trips. Sitting next to it is a postcard box full of places that I've been and soon I'm going to have to get a new box.

That would be nice! *g*

I like travelling as well, but am no longe able to physically. It takes too much out of me at the moment and I don't have the money anyway. But that's all right. I have the internet which isn't the same but close enough for now.

A new box is good. Means you've been to new places. *g*
