April Challenge - What you saw today!

This isn't what I saw today. I saw my hubbie doctor's office today along with the usual sights on the freeways on the way to work but someone asked about my garden so I thought I'd post pictures from that plus the historical houses that it is sandwiched between. I'll post one and for those who are interesting the rest are under the cut.

Pictures of the vegetable garden in order of appearance: The overall garden with sunflowers stalks in the middle, nasturtiums, eggplant, Big Bertha peppers, banana peppers, kale, the beginnings of the zucchini & squash (I have high hopes for them) and the herb garden.

The houses are pretty, but I love the garden.

I agree. The houses are just window-dressing for the garden.

Thank you. I have a wonderful group of children that help me keep it that way.

It still amazes me that those houses were moved in one piece from their old locations to the school property.
