may flowers

Found these flowers in the Denver Botanical Garden. We have aloe in Florida but not this type and the colors were spectacular. It looks like a mini explosion going off with the colors getting brighter going up the rows of blooms.

Love these. They used to grow in the field behind my grandmother's house, along with yucca

Oh, that must have been beautiful. I've only seen them a couple of times and always in formal gardens.

It was so odd where we lived. We were in the Sierra Nevada foothills, about 3000 feet, and they were the only ones in the area. So pretty. Didn't see them again until we moved here

Lovely! I've seen these here as well, but not in the wild. It must have been in a botanical graden somewhere.

Yes, it was a botanical garden. We have some plainer blooms on the aloe around our vegetable garden but nothing this flashy.
