So what's happening in my world?
-getting two of my mother's cats in the not so distant future. They are two adult gingers named Randy and Sandy. Yes, they are brothers. One is very friendly and the other is bit shy. They are both very welcome to our home.
-had a molar prepared for a crown. That was a very long and tedious procedure. It's my first one. I get the real thing next week and then I have to schedule a second crown on the other side of my mouth. Joy.
-my nephew got a new liver this past week. He's been waiting for over a year. He's had some slight rejection symptoms but not total rejection. He needs your thoughts and prayers.
-the new addition to the family (my nephew's first male child) has some serious health problems and needs prayer.
-I'm in the stabilizing phase of my weight-loss. It's going to be a challenge to keep off the 125 lbs. I lost. I really want to stay this way but I'd like to eat a few of my old favorites. If I had to choose between them and staying at a healthy weight than I chose the lower weight but it would be nice to have a change once or twice a week.

I'm so happy the kittencats are coming to live with you. They'll be well=loved and cared for.

Many prayers for both nephew and baby.

Crowns suck, at least until they're in and you get used to them. Then you forget they're there.

I wish I had your willpower. 125 is fantastic. Right now I'd celebrate 5.

Thank you on all counts.I'm really looking forward to the kitties coming. It will be nice to have furry, purry ones in the house again and I want to do something for mom (though she will not remember it) and my sister (who is doing everything).

This temporary crown feels like it is too big. It looks huge and my throat hurts but it is better than losing another tooth.

Weight-loss is all about the right motivation or at least that's what I've come to believe.

Sorry to hear about the bad news on the family health matters - sending you good thoughts.

Crowns are a long process, I'm in the middle of getting one too. But as Nverland says, once it's in, you'll be happy you got it.

I think one little treat a week is not going to do much damage, so I would say pick a favourite and enjoy it - just once week though!

Thank you. I'm sure they appreciate your good thoughts.

The temp crown feels huge and like it doesn't belong. The procedure too forever. Thought I was going to have to stop them at one point to use the restroom.

I'm thinking about saving the treats for Friday night date night and Sunday lunch.

Hope things work out for your family. Sending prayers and positive thoughts.

I hope the cats will be at home soon.

Don't know anything about crowns apart from the fact they're expensive.

I need to lose weight as well. Allow yourself a treat now and then hun, it keeps the focus.

Thank you for the prayersl Nephew has been struggling while waiting for his new liver. I hope this is a turning point for him with his health. His children and wife need him healthy and whole.

Looking forward to the kitties. They are a sweet pair.

The issue seems to be more about establishing habits for a lifetime instead of a few treats.
